Printers: New VS Refurbished?

There is no getting around it, businesses use printers every day.  Some use small inkjet printers for minor printing task, while others use large InfoPrint Printers for huge production printing.  Printers have become an integral part of the everyday function of most businesses.  If you don’t think so, whens the last time you saw even a household without one?  So when your company printer breaks down, should you buy new or refurbished printers?  While most manufacturers would like you to think buying new is the way to go you need to know what a refurbished printer is first to make an educated decision.

First, refurbished printers are printers that were used, demonstration models or damaged and have been returned for any one of these reasons.  Once received, these printers are put through a re-manufacturing process with all new internal parts to restore then to their original condition.  Next, they are inspected by a skilled technician to ensure that they are in peak working condition.  They then are repackaged and ready to sell to the public.

One of the best reasons for buying refurbished printers is that they are the next best thing to new.  Since they are like new but are not, they cost only a fraction of the cost of a new printer and comes with a warranty.  Another benefit of buying refurbished over new is that buying refurbished is eco-friendly because it reduces the overall number of printers that would have ended up becoming scrap.

With all the benefits of buying a refurbished printer, it’s easy to see why it’s a viable option.  While there are plenty of reasons to think of for buying a refurbished printer, only one counts towards your businesses bottom line.  If you can save your company money, up to 80% buying a refurbished printer, shouldn’t you think it’s a viable option too?  For more information on refurbished printers, production and network printers and printer parts and supplies, please visit www.bradshawgroup.com.
